Shane has acquired 6 years of work experience in financial services, private equity, and management consulting. Prior to joining Sun Venture, he was an Associate at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on engagements relating to corporate strategy, corporate finance, and venture building. Shane had also previously worked at Allianz Capital Partners and Hermes GPE in private equity investing, and at Citigroup as a Management Associate.

Shane holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance) and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from Singapore Management University.
